Galeon Playa

Galeon Playa Apartments are well located directly at the seafront of Costa Teguise and are great holiday choice, particularly for families as they offer an array of services for kids from fun filled activities to kids buffet for the youngest.

The property features 2 large pools (one heated in winter) with sun terraces, 2 separate children's paddling pools, a buffet restaurant overlooking the bay of Las Cucharas, a pool bar with a wide choice of snacks and drinks and of course a range of activities and entertainment for all the family. This includes volleyball, aerobics, aquagym and more and at the Atlantic Bar guests can enjoy live music, Karaoke and other night time entertainment.

The Kids Club 'Galy' is a highlight for all the children, split between Baby club (0-3), Mini club (4-11) and Teen club (12+) there is something for everyone. A big playground, creche, soft-play area, video games room with billiards, table tennis all form part of the Galy Family Club.

One Bedroom Apartments are spacious and well equipped, but are basic in style. One Bedroom Apartments with Sea View (for ocuppancy of 2 people) are high floor and modern in design as they have been completely refurbished. Superior One Bedroom Apartments are also refurbished and have garden, street or pool view and can accommodate up to 2 adults plus 2 children.

Two Bedroom Family Apartments have a very spacious living/dining room and bathroom with either shower or bath and 2 bedrooms. A welcome surprise also awaits the kids (table with games etc). Some family units are decorated in a pirate theme, with one of the two bedrooms having 2 bunk beds.

All units have kitchenette, Sat TV, safe* and either balcony or terrace. Free Wifi. High chairs for babies for the apartments can also be rented.

Costa Teguise

These days, Costa Teguise is one of the main resorts in Lanzarote, Costa Teguise holidays are nicely laid back, placid and relaxed. This Lanzarote resort is definitely more leisurely in pace than Puerto del Carmen and therefore attracts a clientele interested solely in Lanzarote holidays of quiet enjoyment and pleasure without the blare of noise and thrumming disco flashes.

Situated on the island's east coast (approx. 20 minutes drive from Arrecife airport), Costa Teguise has been purpose built, but retains an attractive community feel. Thoughtfully landscaped, there are pleasant plazas with plenty of palms, foliage and greenery and little bars, cafes and restaurants with al fresco terraces are plentiful. Although nightlife is of the low key variety, there are still pubs and nightclubs and lots of good quality restaurants.

Shopping in Costa Teguise is good with many tourist outlets, jewellery stores and discounted electrical shops. There are several beaches in the area and the best is probably "Las Cucarachas" which has sugary white sand and is renowned for windsurfing. In general, Costa Teguise hotels are good standard and well geared to the needs of the visitor.
